Private review draft

Privacy policy

Draft for pre-launch review. This explains the data Bayti Services needs for booking and verification. The data controller's identity, contact channel and specific retention periods must be completed before public use.

1. Data we collect

We may collect names, contact details, account information, temporary verification codes and sessions, full home addresses and coordinates you provide, booking times, prices, visit statuses and related messages. For providers, we collect photos and identity or business documents for review. When payments are enabled, a payment provider will receive transaction data; full card numbers should not be stored by us.

2. Why we use data

We use data to create accounts, display approved providers, match schedules, manage bookings, send updates, verify eligibility, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, retain necessary records and meet applicable duties. Private verification documents are not used in advertising or shown to customers.

3. Sharing

Booking details and addresses are shared with the assigned provider or company as needed for the visit. Limited data may be processed by contracted hosting, storage, messaging and payment suppliers. We do not sell identity documents, addresses or personal data. Information may be disclosed when lawfully required.

4. Photos and documents

Files are kept in private storage, available only to the account holder and authorized reviewers. Documents are not visible to customers. A professional photo, display name, area and hourly rate may be published after approval and appropriate consent. Sensitive identity numbers must never appear in public profiles.

5. Location

Device location is optional and requires browser permission. You may enter your address manually. Coordinates you submit help the provider find the visit; we do not continuously track background location.

6. Retention and security

Access is limited by role and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Information is retained while the account and bookings remain active and then as needed for legal obligations and dispute handling; category-specific periods must be approved before launch. Deletion requests are assessed against records we must retain.

7. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, updates or eligible deletion, object where applicable, or withdraw consent where processing depends on it through the privacy contact channel to be published before launch. We may verify identity before acting.

8. Cookies and changes

This version uses only essential operating features. If optional analytics or cookies are added, choices will be explained clearly. Material updates will carry a new effective date. Controller details and a privacy contact must be added before public launch.
